2012 Tết Festival, the year of Dragon

The Vietnamese American Community in Iowa will be celebrating its annual New Year celebration on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at Walnut Center, Iowa State Fairgrounds.  The program will include the traditional homage ritual ceremony, dragon dance, cultural performances, longevity wishes to elders, lucky money blessing for children, traditional costume show and music along with many popular games and activities in the Vietnamese culture.

This festival is not only to serve as an annual reunion for many thousands of Vietnamese Americans in Iowa, but it is also an attraction for many others in the greater Des Moines area.  The Vietnamese community sincerely invites you to support its effort and attend the 2012 festival, the Year of the Dragon.    You do not need to be present to win these prizes.  A drawing from these raffle tickets will be held at the end of the show and the winners will be notified on the Website.  This year the prizes are worth thousands of dollars - making each $5 raffle ticket an excellent bargain - and you can buy as many tickets as you like!
